Boston based Guitarist, Vocalist, Songwriter, Bandleader, and Music Instructor

Ryan Faraday is a professional Guitarist, Vocalist, Songwriter, Bandleader, and music instructor in the Boston area.  After growing up in a household surrounded by music, Ryan began performing on the electric guitar at open mic jams and various local blues shows at the age of 13, after only playing for a single year.  At age 15, his blues/rock band Shades Of Blue, which was made of musicians 2-3 times his senior, was packing rooms all over the South Shore and Greater Boston area.  By 18, Ryan had played all over the country, venturing up and down the East Coast and as well as out West in California and Las Vegas, garnering rave reviews.

Upon graduation of Berklee College of Music at age 22, he founded Music Lessons Boston, a music lessons service, while continuing to perform 300 shows a year on average.

Today, Ryan continues to perform extensively with various musical projects including his Roots, Blues, Rock, and Soul band GREAT BLUE WAIL, a Top 40/Party band The Soul Estate, as well as continuing to be a prolific solo acoustic performer.
